Had this calendar existed in the 80s when John had just returned home from his mission, I’m quite sure he wuold have made the front cover. :-)

This pic was taken on the day of his missionary farewell. Hard to believe, isn’t it? And, yes, he was quite hot enough for a pinup, IMO.
