I didn’t take this pic myself, but it’s pretty close to what it has looked like outside today. Creepy orange sky, raining ash.
At least the wind seems to have died down.
We are following the ‘rules’–hunkering down inside with windows and doors closed. I went out briefly to put gas in the car ‘just in case’ and found that the power was out in most of the nearby shopping centers–had to go pretty far to find a place with working gas pumps.
Kinda scary.
What about you–are you all okay? Anyone else out there near a fire?
