Poor John is sick today. Too sick to go to work. Life is just rough that way…

Uh-oh! I’m sad to hear John’s not feeling well but glad that he stayed home from work. Sometimes a day of rest is a better remedy than anything the doctor can prescribe.
I hope the rest of the family stays healthy. Get well soon, John!

John’s malady is one that is only somewhat infectious–both of the kids have caught his SF fever, and I’m only somewhat affected. :)BTW, so glad to see you commenting on my blog–and thanks so much for letting us chat with you and R until way-too-late tonite!!

Actually, I’m not much of a trekkie, though I enjoyed the original series. This is mainly a literary SF gathering. Mind on Fire will have something related in a day or two. :)

It was a bit obscure on purpose. Someone told me that I wasn’t allowed to blog about the cause of his mysterious “illness.”
