Not sure why, but when I get nervous talking to famous people I feel compelled to make odd hand gestures. What was I trying to say??
Here I am getting my Rough Stone Rolling signed by Richard Bushman. I’ve had a nice email exchange with him since then. Also, I’m writing up an article about his speech for the “Church News.”
What’s cool is that your fingers look like they’re about to pinch the open pages of the book–it plays with the perspective, like an Escher drawing.
I think you’re over-analyzing. PG does this all the time … or maybe she just thinks I’m famous too?
I’ve personally always been jealous of your gesticulations, Jana. It always looks like you’re having a lot of fun while talking. Just doesn’t come naturally to me, unfortunately.
