While I’m enjoying some lingering goodbyes with my party guests, get started on the dishes and have them nearly done by the time I return to the kitchen. Swoon!

PS: other than my failure to acquire ample numbers of goblets, plates and silverware, the new house is a great venue for cooking and enjoying pie with friends!  :)

PPS: Turning in the keys to my old apartment this weekend was a bittersweet experience.  I will miss that home desperately–for so many reasons.  But am delighted to hold on to the memories of sharing it with so many of you!
