It’s pouring rain this morning–an unusual event in a SoCal spring. As I prepped for work and grabbed the umbrella I bought in Portland under threat of rain on my last trip and the raincoat purchased on a gusty-drizzly afternoon in England’s Lake District, I felt such hunger to travel again.
And as I commuted in gnarly rain-related traffic on the 55 this morning, I was so tempted to just keep going–back to my rainy December spent in Pasadena, with quiet wet afternoon walks around the rose gardens of the Huntington Library.
