halfway today

Today marks the anniversary of our marriage. It also marks the fact that we’ve been with each other for half of our lives…18 years ago in a muggy SoCal fall, John and I met and started this journey together.
John woke me up this morning with breakfast in bed: a thick slice of homemade bread (love the breadmaker with a timer so the bread is piping hot when we wake up!) slathered with fresh butter and a latte just the way I like it.
Joy!

Happy anniversary, and may you have many, many more.
You two are awesome. Congratulations! I love the photo too.
Awww, congratulations! Sounds like your day started out very romantic. :-)
Someday, not for a while, but someday – I’d love to get an expresso machine. Homemade lattes sound delicious!
Happy happy!
We had a similar (though not quite as long) milestone anniversary this year, when I’d been married for as much of my adult life as I was single. We’ll have to wait quite a bit longer (well, 18 years, minus a little) for the halfway mark you celebrated today.
happy anniversary!
Thank you, all. Your good wishes are golden to me :)
